A store locator is a tool that helps customers find physical stores. It increases trust and improves local SEO. Most plugins require a Google Maps API key, but Progus Store Locator works without it - installation takes just a minute.

Step 2 - Add Your Locations

In the app panel, go to “Locations” → “Add Location”. You can add manually or import from CSV/Google Sheets.

Fields to fill:

  • Store name (required)
  • Address (GPS coordinates are added automatically)
  • Phone, opening hours
  • Photo, description, social media links

Step 3 - Customize the Map

Choose a map style (you have access to over 23,000 styles). Additionally, you can:

  • Create a new pin style (or multiple styles and assign each to different pins)
  • Create tags for easier location filtering
  • Choose layout, add custom CSS code, and many other settings

Step 4 - Display Locator on Your Site

During installation, the app automatically created a store locator page on your store. If you want to place the map elsewhere, you have 2 options:

  • App Block - for Online Themes 2.0, drag the block to any page
  • Embed Code - find it in the app under Settings → Installation, paste it on any page

Step 5 - Done

Your map is ready and already tracking user traffic. You can monitor statistics in the Analytics tab.

Why No API Key is a Big Advantage

Most plugins require Google Maps API (credit card required, complex registration). Progus uses its own vector maps, available only to users of our store locator.
